Contacts
Move people through the Lead Pipeline
Drag a contact between the five stages to record that they paid, booked a call, bought, or dropped out.
Open this screen in the app ↗The Lead Pipeline is a board of five columns — Lead, Paid, Call Booked, Higher Ticket and Not Converted — with every contact shown as a card in one of them. Moving a card records what happened with someone: it writes tags onto them and marks their record as paid, booked or bought, which is what your reports and automations read afterwards.
How the board decides which column someone is in
A contact's stage is worked out from their record each time the board loads, in this order: a high-ticket purchase puts them in Higher Ticket; otherwise being marked not converted or carrying the not-converted tag puts them in Not Converted; otherwise a booked call puts them in Call Booked; otherwise a payment puts them in Paid; otherwise they are a Lead.
Move someone to another stage
- Open Contacts in the left menu and click Lead Pipeline.
- Find the person's card.
- Drag the card into the column you want. Or click Next: followed by a stage name on the card to move them one step forward.
- To mark someone as lost, click the small red person icon at the bottom right of their card.
- Check for the green confirmation that says "Moved to" and the stage name.
- Next: stage name — Moves the contact one step forward along Lead, Paid, Call Booked, Higher Ticket. It is not shown on cards in Higher Ticket or Not Converted.
- Showing 50 of N — A column draws at most 50 cards. The count in the header is still the true total. Click See all in Contacts to work through the rest from the contacts list.
Exactly what each stage writes onto the contact
Every move first strips the tags paid-299, call-booked, purchased, higher-ticket and not-converted, then adds the tags for the stage you dropped them in. The tag lead is added at every stage.
- Lead — Tags: lead. Also sets paid, call booked and high-ticket purchase all back to No.
- Paid — Tags: lead, paid-299. Marks the contact as paid and stamps the date and time.
- Call Booked — Tags: lead, paid-299, call-booked. Marks them as paid and as having a call booked, and stamps the booking time.
- Higher Ticket — Tags: lead, paid-299, call-booked, purchased, higher-ticket. Marks paid, call booked and the high-ticket purchase, and stamps the purchase time.
- Not Converted — Tags: lead, not-converted. Clears the high-ticket purchase.
Moving someone to Not Converted takes the paid-299 and call-booked tags off them but leaves their payment and booking on the record. That person will sit in the Not Converted column of the board while the contacts list still shows them with a Paid or Call Booked badge.
Moving a card does not start an email sequence. It can run an automation whose starting point is a pipeline stage change or a tag being added, but nobody is enrolled in a sequence by a pipeline move. To send sequence emails, tick the people on All Contacts and use Enroll in Sequence.
Rename a stage
- Open Contacts → Lead Pipeline.
- Click the stage name in the column header.
- Type your own wording, up to 32 characters.
- Click the tick to save, or press Escape to cancel.
- To go back to the built-in name, clear the box and save it empty.
Renaming changes the wording only. The stage still writes exactly the same tags and the same record as before, and your reports are unaffected.
