Publish your funnel and set each page's address

Give each step its own web address and search description, then take the whole funnel live — or take it back down.

Publishing makes every step of your funnel visible on the public internet. Before that, set each page's address and the text search engines and social sites will show.

Set a page's address and search text

1. Open the funnel from Funnels → All Projects and click the step you want in the Funnel steps list.
2. Click the gear icon next to Edit, or open the step's ⋯ menu and choose Edit page details.
3. Type a Name — the label for this step in your own funnel only.
4. Type a Path — the last part of the web address. Keep it short, for example start or thank-you. The line under the field shows the address as you type.
5. Fill in Title and Description under Search & social — shown in Google results and link previews.
6. Click Update page.

The "Visitors go to…" line inside Edit page details always shows the shared company address, even when your funnel is on your own domain — the real link is in the Share link bar at the top of the funnel screen.

Publish the funnel

1. Open the funnel and check the % ready bar above the tabs.
2. Click Publish Funnel at the top right.
3. Read the confirmation, which names the number of steps and the address.
4. Click Publish Funnel in the dialog.

• % ready — Counts five things: a main conversion step exists, a thank-you step exists, every step has page content, every step has a search title or description, and every step is published. You can publish before it reaches 100%.

Publish Funnel turns the pages on for the public. Edits made inside the builder go live only when you press Publish inside the builder itself.

Take a funnel back down

1. Open the funnel.
2. Click the ⋮ button to the right of Publish Funnel.
3. Choose Unpublish funnel.
4. Read the warning, then click Unpublish.

Unpublishing deletes nothing — pages, design and captured leads stay, and you can publish again at any time. Meanwhile the link shows a not-found page.

Funnel-wide settings

The Settings tab holds settings that apply to every page: the Public domain the funnel publishes on, a Tracking Pixel box for tracking code that runs on every page, and Global CSS. Click Save Settings to save.

Split-test variations

On the Overview tab, Create variation makes a copy of the selected step under the Variation heading, with its own web address.

Traffic is not split automatically — a variation is only seen by people who open its own address. The Start split test panel is a description only; it has no button.
