Getting started
Set up the email address your messages send from
Where to check the address your emails go out from, and how to prove it works with a test send.
Open this screen in the app ↗Every email this platform sends — campaigns, sequences, booking confirmations, reminders and automation emails — leaves from one connected sender address for your workspace.
Until that sender reads Connected, a campaign will not send or schedule, and the test button on this screen stays greyed out.
You cannot add or verify the sender address yourself — the Advanced Life Coaching team connects it for you, and the platform turns down the request from a coach account. This screen is for checking it and testing it.
Check your sender
- Click Settings in the left-hand menu, then Domains & Email.
- Click the Email sender tab.
- Read the badge on the right of that tab. Connected means you are ready to send.
- Read the four details listed below it: Sender email, From name, Reply-to and Connected.
- Sender email — The address that appears in the From line of every email you send.
- From name — The name shown beside that address in a recipient's inbox.
- Reply-to — Where replies land. If nothing separate has been set, replies go back to the sender email.
- Connected — When the sender was switched on, or 'Ready to send' if no date was recorded.
- Student email preview — A sample of how your From name, address and reply-to look to the person receiving it. It only appears once the sender is connected.
- Recent email activity — The last few messages sent from this workspace — campaigns, sequences, booking emails, reminders and tests — newest first, each with its status.
Send a test
- Type an inbox you can open into the Send a test email box. Your own address is fine.
- Click Test.
- Open that inbox. The message arrives from your sender address with the subject 'Your sender domain is connected'.
- Return to this screen. The result is recorded under the box as 'Last test: ...' and a new row appears in Recent email activity.
Only a workspace admin can send the test. A team member is turned down with 'Only workspace admins can manage integrations'.
If the tab reads 'Email sender setup is pending', nothing on this screen will change it — the button stays disabled by design. Ask support through Need Help? in the left-hand menu.
The name, logo and colour used inside the body of those emails come from Settings → Business Profile → Email Branding, not from this screen.
